The Ski Club is now open for the 2020-2021 season

Winter is here and the Ski Club is now open to our members! We wanted to take a few minutes to reiterate our operational plan and building procedures and policies, as well as share some new details for the current season.

We have been working diligently to get the club in good shape for the season, and while it certainly looks and feels different, we feel confident we have taken the necessary steps to create a safe and welcoming space for members.

First and foremost: masks are MANDATORY at all times while you are on the property and in the building. Vail has a strict policy regarding mask wearing, and we are following suit here in the Club.

ENTERING/EXITING/MOVING THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING:

There are TWO entry points into the building:

- South end door (by the deck)

- Deck entry on the second floor

You may not enter the building through any other egress.

To exit, you will use the main doors facing the fire pit/Clock Tower Building. This is the ONLY exit point from the building.

Family Locker Room: Entry is through the room closest to the men’s bathroom and the exit is through the other room (the Competitor's Locker Room is not available this season).

Second Floor: To access the second floor, you will go up using the stairwell that leads to the main lunch room. To exit the second floor, you will go down using the stairwell off the small lunch room.

You will find doors are marked, signs hung, and arrows provided to prompt you and direct flow.

ONCE IN THE BUILDING:

- You will have the opportunity to use hand sanitizer all throughout the building, so please do. If you touch a surface, we would be grateful if you use one of the sanitizing wipes also provided to wipe it down.

- Time in the building should be brief. Dropping bags, booting up, grabbing gear, and using the restroom are all perfectly fine. It’s not a race, but it’s also not a leisurely activity! Short and sweet; boot and scoot.

- You will notice we now have quite a bit of open space upstairs

HOWEVER - PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOOT BAGS OR EQUIPMENT TOSSED ACROSS THE FLOOR.

Everything must be placed in a cubby.

- Children should be with their parents/adult family members at all possible times.

- Unfortunately, use of the kitchen (coffee/tea/microwaves/toaster), is not available, nor are the lounges.

Within the next week, we will be implementing an easy-to-use check-in/check-out system. This will allow us to track capacity, flow, and usage. More on this once we finalize details.

REGARDING THE RESORT:

There is limited seating for inside dining, but it requires a reservation through Time to Dine, and guests are allowed 30 minutes. Tony’s and Vermont Country Deli will be operating this season with a fairly limited menu. Cuzzins and Canned will be open mid-December on weekends & holidays only. The Tap Room and 1900’ Burger will not operate this season (nor will The Bullwheel or The Iron Loft).
